Victor of Tucson: Finished, and It's One of My Favorites

Final verdict on Victor of Tucson: I've finished it and, man, what a ride. This series really hooked me. Giving it a solid 8.9/10 — it's one of my favorites now, full stop.

The main character

Victor just nails it. He's got this realness about him that makes you want to root for him every step of the way. The grounded power system I mentioned in my earlier updates? Yeah, it totally paid off. Kept things believable and intense, which was refreshing. Flashy powers are cheap if they're not grounded.

The progression, and the payoff

I loved how the progression wasn't rushed. Some books speed through character development — this one took its time. That slower burn pacing I flagged before actually worked. Watching Victor grow and evolve felt genuine and earned. No shortcuts, just a solid buildup that pays off big by the end.

The fights

Pure gold. The combat in this series is on point — exciting and detailed enough to get your heart racing. You feel the stakes. It's like being right in the middle of it without leaving your couch.

[Narration note] Robb Moreira's narration is spot on. His voice brings the whole story to life and adds another layer to an already fantastic series.

Victor of Tucson keeps you on your toes with its mix of action, depth, and character development. Now I'm just eagerly waiting for the next book — if it's anything like this one, we're in for a treat.
